We believe that putting academics back on track makes a significant difference in the lives of teens.
Prayer Mountain Boys Academy is a year-round, faith-based program for boys ages 13-17, who are struggling with anger, defiance, minor substance abuse, or other destructive choices. The program enrolls boys who have life-controlling issues or have gotten off track in life.
Our Christian boarding school for boys feels like a home. The beautiful 36-acre campus gives boys a peaceful and spacious setting in which to make lasting life change.
Prayer Mountain Boys Academy centers on relationships and on teaching leadership. We introduce boys to Jesus Christ, believing that this relationship above all others has the power to heal and transform hurting lives. Our committed staff understand the situations facing these young men, many from personal experience, and they love the boys like family. We help them to grow in their relationships with themselves and with each other and, in time, to heal broken relationships with their parents and families.
The Christian boarding school is specifically designed to teach leadership and respect to boys who are struggling with behavioral issues. Each student is assigned to an on-site counselor.
Some of the issues the boy may be exhibiting may include:
“I speak from more than 20 years of knowledge of the organization when I tell you, Teen Challenge works.” Ronald Reagan
“Organizations like Teen Challenge…have a far better record of dealing with social issues and people in difficulty than do the bureaucrats.”
Dr. James C. Dobson,
Founder, Focus on the Family
“I truly admire Teen Challenge because of its loving, life-giving ministry to individuals who are bound by life controlling addictions.” Dan T. Cathy,
President & CEO, Chick-Fil-A
“Teen Challenge is one of the most successful programs in our country.” George W. Bush
God directed my steps and changed me one step at a time. He healed all the anger and everything else that was in my life before. I figured out that I couldn’t do things on my own, but that God was the only one who could direct my life.
I decided to give God a chance and surrender everything to Him. As I began to repent, I finally realized all the things I’ve been going through didn’t have to be there anymore. Since then, my life has never been the same.
